There are several options to reach Bequia. The most frequently chosen route is
via Barbados (BGI, Bridgetown) with numerous direct flights from Europe, the US and Canada.
From Europe:
British Airways and Virgin Atlantic both offer daily flights from London Gatwick to Barbados. In addition, Virgin Atlantic has 2 scheduled weekly flights from Manchester. During high season (December to April) there are also numerous charter flights from London Gatwick and further British airports (Manchester, Birminham and Newcastle) with TUI and other carriers. From Frankfurt and Munich you can reach Barbados weekly with Condor airlines (some flights with stopover at St. Lucia, Grenada or Tobago).
From the US:
American Airlines has daily direct flights from New York (JFK) and from Miami to Barbados. Jet Blue Airways operates nonstop flights from New York (JFK).
From Canada:
Non stop flights from Toronto are offered by Air Canada (daily) and WestJet Airlines (several days a week), and from Montreal by Air Canada (on weekends).
Connecting from Barbados to Bequia:
The fastest connection to Bequia is via SVG Air scheduled charter services, which connect conveniently with most international flight arrivals in Barbados. Be sure you come in at time, as the Bequia aiport operates only during daylight hours. Alternatively, you can fly with LIAT airlines from Barbados to the new Argyle airport on St. Vincent, take a taxi to Kingstown and from there connect to Bequia with a ferry boat. This is short a 1-hour ride either with Bequia Express or Admiral Ferries (multiple trips a day).
If you consider approaching the Grenadines via St. Lucia, please take into account that LIAT flies into the local George F. L. Charles Airport in Castries on St. Lucia (airport code: SLU). This is airport is different from the international airport of St. Lucia, Hewanorra (UVF), which is served by SVG Air and the international carriers!
